Greek style shrimp

Click this one to see it full-size, then come back:

Crisp shrimp slathered in a mixture of good olive oil, loads of garlic, big chunks of feta cheese, fresh dill, assorted Greeky herbs, some red pepper flakes, and then run under the broiler. The shrimp were incredible, and it had to be the very best oil for bread-dipping ever. Warm oil infused with all those flavors, the stuff of dreams.

Lori, any chance of getting the recipe for this and all the other dishes you post here? I make a greek shrimp dish also (skewered and cooked over mesquite chips...subtle undercurrent of flavorings that is amazing over linguine) without the feta so I'd be interested in all the fine details.

Liked the video. Does M like to talk while he's cooking? Might be fun to have him describe what he's doing. I mean, as long as you're promulgating a cooking channel, along with your life channel. : ~ )

I JUST NOW SAW THIS!! Somehow I accidentally turned on comment moderation, but I don't know how I didn't see this pending comment until just now.

Writing you off-line, but here's the deal: He does not use recipes and never does anything the same way twice. I could get him to narrate, it's something I've thought about for our own purposes, so he could recreate things I love. There was this one orange shrimp dish he made me a couple of years ago that he's been trying to recreate ever since. Luckily, even if it's not the same one it's still great, but I daydream about that first one. If I have little narrated videos, maybe he'd remember the specific thing he did.

:) I didn't neglect to answer on purpose, tintinsnowy! I'd never do that.
